Corsair H80i Way Too Noisy When Playing Games!

Okay, so I have another problem. I have the Corsair H80i Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler, and when it's idle, it's pretty much quiet, but still speeds up when doing the slightest thing. However, playing a couple of games, i.e. Dying Light, it almost makes the game unplayable. The noise of the fan is totally bad, it speeds up and you can hear it over the game itself, and because I have problems with my sound card, it's even worse. Considering sending back my new computer, in this day and age, there is no way a cooling system should make such a noise, especially with 8 cores and a decent graphics card. It's basically speeding up way too much :*(

What cpu do you have? Are you overclocking the cpu? You can create fan profiles for the h80i, have you try quiet mode?

No overclocking, it's an AMD FX-9590. Bout to try the Corsair link now some more, don't think it's going to make much difference though.

Doesn't really make much difference, quiet mode is fine, but soon as load Dying Light up, goes really fast again. Shouldn't even be revving up like that, not like the game is amazing graphics neither.

Fx-9590 is known for running hot and loud, if you save the profile it should be fine.
