I was going to buy my first laptop from PCS, and the perfect choice for my budget (around 780€) was a Cosmos IV 15.6''
Before buying it though, i have a couple of doubts that I'd like to solve with your help
First i was wondering why the laptop price fluctuates so much, i know pc components have really mutable trends, but i checked and the price changed pretty much every day! Also, do you confirm that the price will be frozen and won't suddenly change when i place my order?
my second doubt is:
I'm a graphic design student, so i feel that the IPS panel choice is mandatory, but i really couldn't believe my eyes when i saw that the panel model (LG LP156WF4-SPB1) is the same as this laptop: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Clevo-W650SJ-Schenker-M504-Barebones-Notebook.114329.0.html (no spam intended; the panel model is listed in the column on the right) which seems to be VERY GOOD! And it feels pretty strange considering that I've never seen such good panels in this price range! To all Cosmos IV owners, do you confirm the good quality of the screen?
The same site also offers a calibrated ICC profile, which theoretically should give me the same calibration since the cosmos and the m504 has the same panel. I planned to use it (cannot find a specific calibration for the cosmos anywhere else) but i thought that i'd better wait and ask if someone of you tried to do something similar and can confirm my theory
That's it, i know these may be stupid questions but i rather be sure before making investments
