If you bought this second hand, you'd need to have the seller transfer their warranty to you which will give you access to an online account which includes your specifications.

I'm afraid we can't offer any support without transferred warranty, you may want an open forum like Toms Hardware

Thanks, is this not a forum that we can ask questions and give advice?
If I can't get a transferred warranty, thats probably expired as I assume it's 12 months, can I not contact PC SPECIALIST for advice?

The account warranty doesn't expire, it's not related to the product warranty. It's worth calling PCS but without account warranty transferred they may well not be able to offer any help.

Issue is that I can't get a hold of the seller. I am surprised that I can get advice , I have saw posts where the pc isn't even bought yet

The rules are quite simple. We ask for full specs of any current PC to ensure that it's not stolen and that the user asking the questions has access to the account. More than that, without access to the account, you don't have access to the relevant downloads for that particular PC.

The advice people get before they buy the PC is always about a PC bought from PC Specialist, not elsewhere.

If you want general tech advice, there are 100's of tech forums about. This particular one is a PC Specialist forum and therefore only for PC Specialist builds.

Any person with a PCS account for a current system, or anyone looking to buy a PCS system can get advice on this forum.

If it's a second hand system, PCS have asked that we only give support if the warranty has been transferred and therefor the user has a PCS account.

I'm not sure how else we can say it.
