We love you Ukraine
This is brilliant, this guy is called John Darko, he's big on YouTube as a high end audio enthusiast, but he is also big into lower end mod solutions.
This latest one is a series he's doing on Raspberry Pi capabilities in Digital Audio.
It starts with basics of Raspberry Pi configuration:
This particular video is for creating a Raspberry Pi streamer, so you can stream Roon, Spotify or Tidal through a touchscreen dedicated streamer.
For anyone who doesn't know, Roon is an in home streaming solution, it's like a master database for music streaming, it's very very good, audio quality is superb and it's extremely polished. BUT it's not cheap, a lifetime license costs $700. They've just moved to a subscription model so it's either $9.99 if you pre pay a year, or $12.99 a month.
Bear in mind, this will beat the pants off Spotify or even Tidal in audio quality (so long as you have the appropriate high res files and gear), and you own all the music. In my mind it's actually very good value considering how beautiful and unbuggy it is:
There are cheaper alternatives, There's Audirvana which is £65 a year or £7 a month subscription, just as good sound quality, but not quite as polished:
