I am planning on buying a system for gaming and games development and I am dealing with Unity projects that are large and have a lot of assests.

Shall I go for an Intel i7 8700k or an AMD Ryzen Six Core CPU?

The i7 costs more, but also gives more performance?

What's your budget, and how much did the above spec come to?

Also what monitor are you pairing this with?

I suspect my recommendation will be that you should go with the Vulcan S 01 spec here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/configure-review/267/
which is very similar but has a large discount, and then add additional storage yourself

Nice build, the performance on the i7 8700k is amazing I was going to go with the one below it but glad I didn't. you got any pics of this build?

Though they only show the tidiness of the build, not what it looks like in a dimmed room with the RGBs or anything.
