Customer service time frame

So I have configured a PC a week or two back and was told that one of the components would not arrive until the 29th this month before they can even build it. I figured if I am waiting, I might as well wait for the new Haswell chip and z87 motherboards. I sent an email last Wednesday (22nd) and still have not had a reply except for automated bot messages. I have also sent another one today at lunch time and still no response.

I understand from what I have read that the customer service should respond within 3 working days but this is beginning to bug me. I don't want them building the PC and then having to take it apart again if it can just be avoided over reading my email.

Kind regards,

Meng

You placed an order and you wish to cancel it? You may want to give them a call instead for a quick response.

Has your PC gone into the build stage yet? If not I believe you can cancel the order and start again if you want to. Alternatively, log into your PCS account and create a ticket for the rig you've ordered using the 'New Message' option in the Tech Support area on the left hand side. Or give them a call.

If you click on the 'My Account' button at the top right there is a 'Cancel Order' button on the next page. Don't know if/how it works though as I'm not cancelling mine!

Yeah but I think from previous threads that doesn't actually work (I've just looked and there is no cancel option... but that might be because I've actually received my PC :))

I'd just give them a call and discuss it with them tomorrow :)

During my build I sent 2 messages within the account message system. The first was responded to within 30 minutes and the second within 90 minutes. I could not have asked for better than that.

Yeh, I was going to call them but I read this "If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Products. You must notify us via durable medium (email / letter) and quote your order number in any communication. Notification by phone is not sufficient." on their terms and condition so I thought I'd respect that. There is no cancellation button of any sort, it was a little disappointing as I do have to admit the first few queries and requests to my rig was answered very quickly. I was going to wait for the new Intel 4th generation Haswell CPUs and make a build on PCS once released but if I can't cancel my order then I guess not...

Anyways rant over, if an admin sees this please find my two emails which I have sent.

Kind regards,

Meng

As I said, give them a ring, you can cancel. The clause you quoted was for cancelling once you had received the PC.

An email from yourself was replied to this morning I believe.

The advisor took from the email that you were cancelling due to the case (which is due in today), if that is not the case please PM me or email [email protected] and I'll get this cancelled for you before it enters the build stage.

Cancellation has gone through fine, thanks for doing that. Do you have any idea when the Haswell i7 4770k and z87 motherboards will be available for configuration/overclock builds?

Thanks,

Meng
