Pcspecialist should sell customer support lessons to companies like Dell. They could learn a lot about how to deal with customers.

Pcspecialist has amazing customer support, Good job guys!:)

I think you're right, however Dell does have good customer support, sadly only for their business customers. which proves they can do it but they choose not to.

Last time I called Dell the person I was speaking to sounded like he learnt English from a cereal box so it resulted in my getting frustrated and cutting off phone.

I've had nothing but a good experience with PCS thus far. PC should arrive on Saturday all being well. A little delayed due to the Sandy Bridge issue, but I was kept well informed throughout and as soon as it went to build, it was done in a flash. Now waiting for Dispatch and hoping to hell that DHL don't manage to somehow roll over it with their van.

Did you manage to arrange the fast track delivery???

Contacted them today and was told I wouldn't need to since my package should be dispatched tomorrow. And if not then they will contact me and i will pay for saturday delivery :)

Another example of the awesume customer support over here.

were/are you a dell business customer ? if not i think you missed the point in my post.

we're 90% Dell in my work, you phone them up run through a couple of "try this/that" and you get an engineer or parts next day.
My previous home pc a Dell xps, completely different ball game, even when you know what the problem is trying to get them to admit to it let alone fix it, is a nightmare. All hail PCS. ;¬)

Yes im aware of their business support which is good but what I am commenting on is how they treat their average customers. One of my USB ports shorted by computer and i couldnt switch it on they basically refused to believe the computer wouldn't switch on and told me to delete internet temporary files...

Customer service costs money. The bigger boys can almost get away with it, so long as most people are satisfied.

The guy helping you fix your pc over the phone just compleated a degree in law, but is working in a call centre because it pays more. Working through a script and has no real idea what he is talking about.

Companies like PCS need word of mouth, if your experiance was excellent you will tell people, especially if you have been burned in the past.

Its scary when you put it all together and think of it this way.

PCS Provide...

Top quality products.
Exactly the spec you want
Proper support from people who know whats what.
Yet they still beat everyone on price too.

Always makes me wonder.... Whats the catch?! Haha

The catch? They treat you so well that they virtually guarantee your business in the future - and that of your friends and family. I can honestly say I've never received better customer service from a PC company. If word of mouth is what it takes to help a company like PCSPecialist do well in this climate, then they have my absolute cast-iron guarantee that I will be raving to anyone who will listen. I have already bent most of my friends ears about it and my housemate will be coming to PCSpecialist in a couple of months when he replaces his desktop. :D
