Defiance 3 Sim slot

Hi guys, I currently have a 15.6" Defiance 3 laptop. For the next three weeks I'll be without internet at my new flat until it's installed. I noticed my laptop comes with a sim slot. Has anyone else tried to use this on the laptop and what results did they get?

I work for carphone warehouse so can get a data only sim card with 25gb of data for £5 a month. Just wondering if it's worth getting for netflix and stuff. any help would be appreciated before I spend money on something useless

I can't say whether it will work or not, don't own the system. But, you could try and put your phone sim in and see if it works? before spending any cash? Or try to get a pay as you go sim at least then you'll not be locked into any contracts?

The laptop looks like it takes a full size sim, whereas mine is a nano sim from my phone. I may have some spare adaptors at work so will give it a go today
