Defiance II 15.6" Review - My new monster

Hello everyone,
I'm here to write a review on my new, and even the first, notebook.
I apologize in advance if there will be some English mistakes, because I'm not English but but I'm Italian.

The reason why.

The first question asked me: are you sure to trust a company that you do not know and which by the way is not even in Italy?
The answer I gave before buying it: no I'm not sure.

However, after months of research, I decided to buy from PCSpecialist and I'm glad.
I looked for a notebook from November (my birthday is in November), I had even thought of buying it from America but increasingly high costs have always made me give up, until my cousin advised me PCSpecialist.
It took a month to put up my mind but I finally made the step to buy the pc, what I think logical to think given its cost.

Now, if someone asked me: are you sure you trust PCSpecialist, my answer would be yes.

There are a lot of pros.
  • Very low prices.
  • Friendly staff and amenable.
  • And despite the distance, speed.

What I can not find, are the cons, given the excellent product quality and reliability of the Company.

In a word?
Excellent.

As soon as the PC has arrived, I entered a Samsung SSD 850 Evo 250GB that I had already previously purchased for 70 €.

For the components used, I found only ever higher prices of 1600 €, in fact I'm still in disbelief I found it for € 1,361 rising to 1,431 if I add the SSD to me purchased separately.

The webcam is good for me because the little use.
The screen is matte so does not reflect, good for me that I program.
I love the keyboard, has the same configuration as the one I use for the desktop pc, the keys are good, the pressure is optimal and respond very well. Then I love the fact that it is backlit, so is not a problem to see the buttons without lights in the evening.
Usually I can not stand the pad and I prefer to use the mouse but I must say that this did not make me still pass the mouse.
I found only one thing wrong, I do not know if it is a defect or done on purpose; the power button do a kind of click when you press it to turn on the PC.
The speackers, to be a notebook, are good, and the sound blaster audio program really improve much.
The PC has a modern and slim design, just what I wanted.

Opening it, I could also see the installation, and can say that it was done a really nice job.

I think I've created a PC with the right balance between power and price. How about?

Thanks for your review! I'm also italian...
I want to buy the same laptop.

Please, can you identify the exact model of the display (you can use the software HWiNFO64)?
Thank you in advance!

I am Italian too and I have bought the same laptop, but with a SSD and a GTX 965M :)
I am having some issues with the order but i hope to receive it during this week.
You can see the model of the screen while configuring the notebook: simply click on the question mark next to "Chassis & Display".
BTW the fullHD dispay is listed as B156HAN01.2

Ooh, it's very simple. Congratulations to PCSpecialist!
Then the display is AU Optronics B156HAN01.2. In other similar clevo models the display is LG LP156WF6-SPB1.
