Defiance III: no audio after resuming from suspend

Hi,

it seems that there is a problem with I suspend my laptop then wake it up, I lose the audio and I can't get it back if I don't reboot.
is there a fix for this? Can I get the audio drivers somewhere?
There is a huge zip file on Clevo's website (350M), it I could get something smaller maybe...

I suspect this may be a Windows 10 issue, I've heard of this before and a quick Google search throws up a several hits.
