I’ll try not to ramble, but my excitement may get the better of me!
I have been an avid PC gamer for 20 plus years, yet I had never strayed into the realm of custom built machines, choosing to always buy “off-the-shelf”. This, it transpires was a mistake.
Having been aware of PCSPECIALIST for some years, I finally took the plunge, delved into their easy to follow website and chose my chassis and components.
You don’t need an in-depth knowledge of every component, as they will tell you if you have chosen something incompatible with your build. You do need a basic understanding of what type of machine you’re trying to build and what level of performance you require from it.
Here is the important bits of my laptop:
The build quality of the chassis is second to none. The unbranded, full metal case is lighter, and thinner, than I imagined. I love the programmable RGB keyboard, which has a lovely soft-click sound when typing. The tiny bezel gives the illusion of a larger screen and looks fantastic. The performance, so far, has exceeded expectation. Pushing out fantastic frame rates on games like PUBG, Fallout 76 and Battlefield V, all running on high or ultra settings.
It took only 10 days from order to delivery and arrived exactly on schedule.
I did have a small issue with an nVidia activation code, which was almost immediately remedied after emailing PCSPECIALIST customer support. They were prompt, polite and helpful with their responses.
I cannot recommend PCSPECIALIST highly enough and I look forward to using them in the future.
