My new PC is due for delivery today !

Beyond the basic setup (unpack, plug in etc..) what other processes / habits do you all have with a new PC?

Any tips on how you configure Windows, must have software or just odd habits you might indulge in?

The single most important thing is to run Windows Update as soon as the initial Windows setup is done, and keep running Windows Update (across reboots if necessary) until no more updates are found.
