Delivery of faulty item and wrongly informed of replacement date.

Hi there,

I was told yesterday after having a faulty graphics card that one would be sent directly and I would recieve it today. I have waited all day for it to come. I had a message very recently saying that DPD would deliver it tomorrow now and that I should wait in. I now have recieved a third message that it will not be delivered until Tuesday the 8th.

I was informed that it would be sent priority and I expected this to be so. Unfortunately after spending the extra £40 for a fast track system, ending up with a faulty card and promises of reciving a new item before this weekend was out... None of it has come to fruition and I'm absolutely displeased and disgusted with the situation.

I have read a lot of good reviews on PC specialist and at first glace and with what I thought was a good customer service, I'm left twiddling my thumbs until after the bank holiday to have a working system. Again, after being annoyed with the initial issues, I'm left with nothing yet again.

I'll be making an official complaint shortly.

Unfortunately, deliveries do sometimes get delayed through no fault of PCS, they have no control over what problems DPD encounter
And because delivery was expected to be today, it won't be on a Saturday delivery contract and since this is a bank holiday weekend and the the next working day is Tuesday that is when DPD now expect to deliver it.

Though I'm surprised that you got a message from DPD today saying it would be delivered tomorrow, since Saturday is not a working day.

Hope it arrives early on Tuesday for you.

It's really no excuse. I was informed by a Jack yesterday that I would have it delivered priority yesterday and recieve it today in the first place.

I understand that the supply of faulty goods is probably not your fault and down to the manafacturer but I do believe that if told something will be made a priority, I expect that to be the case. It seems that I wasted £40 on fast track to recieve something that would have taken the normal delivery estimate because of failures in quality control.

Since when was there a bank holiday Saturday? It's business as usual as far as I know everywhere else with delivery services.

Hello bigmalky,

I am sorry this has happened, I will arrange for a refud of the fastrack service on Tuesday for you when I am back at work.

Was the item dispatched by us on Thursday or today?

It was dispatched today and late on as it seems. I received the e-mail late this afternoon. I do appreciate the offer of a refund and not what I was aiming at but it still leaves me with no system until next week.

I guess I'll just have to wait...

Thanks for the quick correspodence at least.
