Have had this machine for about 5-6 weeks now, when it is up and running it works absolutely perfectly, no issues at all.

In the first couple of weeks, I had 2-3 occasions when I turned the computer on, and although the fans and everything roared into action, there was no output on my monitor. No beeps or anything either. Only thing I noticed was an ominous red light from within the machine. I've tried my best to take a few pictures to show where the red light is and I've attached these to this post.

If I power down the machine and then power it up again everything boots up normally. I reseated the RAM as I thought that might be an issue. Since then I haven't had any problems (coincidence?) but half an hour ago it happened again. Same red light, yet again powering off and then on again solved the problem.

Any help or thoughts as to what this issue might be would be gratefully accepted.

Thanks !

If it happens again try removing one of the sticks of RAM and run with just one, see if it replicates the problem. Run the other one too to try to rule out a bad RAM stick first of all.

Does the red light come on when it boots normally or only when it doesn't boot?

Do you have any USB devices plugged in? Try booting without them for a while (plug them in after booting) and see whether that makes any difference?
