Difference between Sonic Studio III and Realtek Audio Console

I have both on my ASUS ROG STRIX-I PC and I'm using the Realtek Audio Console, which seems to work fine with a 5.1 system.
I've binned the SS3, but what is the difference please??

The Realtek audio console is the official driver add on

Sonic Studio is Asus' bloatware basically
