Disappointed in Dorset.

I am appalled at the quality of the sound which is thin and tinny. My 12" Macbook is far superior. To make this 17.3" Initia anywhere near acceptable to watch dvds or anything with sound, I have to attach two speakers I use with a tower machine. I have tried many ways of improving the sound but to avail.
My second disappointment is with the durablity of the charged battery which may just last three & a half hours. I have to charge it every day. My Mac lasts for over ten hours.
My third disappointment is with Window 11, which in unfathomable, and challenging and difficult to get into. It is not intuative. It was obviously made for 'geeks'.
It is not Windows 7, which I love.
On the whole this laptop is a huge disappoinment & I regret buying it.

It's a little unreasonable to compare the most premium of any laptop with a very budget custom configuration, they're not even the same tier. For a windows equivalent you'd be looking at something like the Razer Blade

That being said, did you order with or without windows? They often have sound managers that have to be manually installed and drastically improve sound quality.

Good! Windows 7 is long gone and the legacy support for it ended ages ago. You’re extremely vulnerable if you’re using that OS.

PCSPECIALIST asked me to review my purchase & to put it onto a website, which is what I have done. I did not expect to be attacked & critised for doing so.

The 12" Mac cost the same as this 17.3" Initia, by the way. I have no idea what a Razer Blade is. I had help from PCSpec. to kit it out & they suggested Windows 11. There was no hint at any time that it would arrive with a sub-standard sound system. If it has a sound manager it is well hidden...................

No, you're right, and I suspect you could not bear being left out of making more pointless remarks. Why you did so remains a mystery.
As you appear to be an ignoramus I must tell you that I run four Windows 7 machines, with two running MS Flight Simulator 2004 quite flawlessly & smoothly, for 6 or 7 years now. One of these was made by PCSecialist.
I even have a Vista machine (out on perment loan) that has been running smoothly for 11 years & this has MS FS 2004, too. I know decent operating systems by using them.
