Do I need to update my BIOS?

Hi
I was wondering if I need to or should I update my bios?

I have the TUF Gaming B550-Plus WIFI Mobo.

On my system info next to BIOS Version/Date its states - American Megatrends Inc. 1802, 15/01/2021

Hi there. You shouldn’t really need to update your BIOS unless you’re experiencing significant issues with your system. And even then, you’d want to troubleshoot until all other possibilities have been ruled out. You’d also invalidate your warranty if you flashed the BIOS without PCS consenting to it.

Are you having any issues with the PC or is it more of a general question?

Then the answer is no.

The BIOS should only ever be updated if you're having problems or if there is some feature in the new BIOS that you need.
