LOL who is the logistics expert that works out these delivery routes for dpd drivers, their depot is 7 miles from my house, i see the driver in my village delivering, he then goes to next village,he is now in bloody Neath lol, i suppose he will come back to our village to deliver my package after his tour of south wales lol :surrender:

The route is planned out based on delivery times, all Pre 9 first, then Pre 12, then everyone else. Then collections.
Seems silly, but yes they could end up delivery in the same street twice. You could say well why cant they deliver mine as I am 10 houses down from the Pre 9.. Well they could, but if they did that for everyone then they wont make all the Pre 9 and Pre 12 deliveries.

Yes eventually 6:00pm I tracked him everywhere,he passed my house 3 times more or less,they where supposed to deliver between 4-5pm ,at 5 pm i saw him drive back to the depot then got emails to say he was delayed and would deliver my goods by 6pm which he did.Box undamaged and new Azure system running a dream.But as LFFPicard said they have before 9 and 12am drops to do before yours which i never thought about, Anyways its here and running sweet

You would usually get and email or a text with a 1hour timeslot on the morning of delivery.
You will also get the tracking number and can see a live update on where the driver is, what delivery number you are, what delivery number the driver is on. It will even tell you the drivers name and show you his location on the map that updates in real-time.
