DVI Vs HDMI Vs Dual DVI can someone please tell me the difference between them because i have absolutely no idea and can someone tell me which one is best and/or what it's best for?
HDMI is basically the same as DVI,but has the ability to transfer audio.DVI dual link can handle higher resolutions than DVI single link.Pretty good explanation of DVI here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface
is hdmi 1.4 better than dual dvi? and ahh right so how do you get audio when using dvi? (sorry if its on the link but its got so much detail info it would hurt my head lol)
Dual Link DVI cables would be better when higher resolutions are required (1920 x 1200 or above).
To get audio with DVI would require using an audio cable along with it.
DP is a display port.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort
What cable you use really depends on what ports your monitor has,If your monitor has a DVI port then best go for a DVI cable.
