Hi,

Not part of any other forum for discussing online shops so thought I'd try here I know we shouldn't talk about other retailers but this isn't regarding a PC but sorry if it's an issue.

My brother ordered a Gear S2 Classic for my christmas present on the 23rd so obviously didn't get here for Christmas day but he's not yet received a dispatch email and he was somewhat stupid not to make an account on Eglobal Central and therefore can't log on to track the status of the order on the website. Despite it being a co.uk website they're actually based in Hong Kong which kinda got me concerned and have read a few bad reviews about the company but then I've also read a few reviews that say that they received the product in 3 working days.

Obviously they were closed Friday through to Sunday, not sure on the bank holiday Monday there wasn't any mention of it being closed on that day just Christmas day and the offices and warehouse are closed at the weekend anyway. I'm concerned because my brother hasn't received any dispatch email or any email except an order conformation. It does say deliveries are within 6-8 working days but I'm more concerned about the lack of a dispatch email which the website says orders are dispatched within 24-72 hours so should have been dispatched by now even with the Christmas weekend.

Has anyone ordered from this site and if so what was your experience, good or bad?

I had never heard of this company before but after a quick google it looks like you might be on a bit of a looser.

If you look at the number of contested reviews on trustpilot it says it all. The obviously real reviewers (with photos etc) are almost all bad with the random 5 star ones all looking pretty fake to me.

My only advice would be to try and get your money back asap. Did you pay via credit card or paypal? Those would be fairly easy to get money back from, if you paid by debit card then your bank may be able to get the money back.

That's what I thought. The reviews on Trustpilot didn't seem very promising. On another forum someone brought a DSLR camera and it came within 3 working days and everything was fine and same with someone else but seeing as there's more negative reviews than positive I'm not confident I'd get it anytime soon or in good condition either.

Okay so I found out how to view the status of the order and it still says processing even though my brother ordered it on the 23rd. I understand they wouldn't have dispatched it over the Christmas week end but surely this week it should have been dispatched?

Could be awaiting stock, could be a backlog over Christmas. The truth is it could be many things, how the order paid for?
