So new to pc specialist and the forum. just ordered an 17inch Elimina with the GTX 1650 what are peoples experiences with this laptop good and bad??

so just ordered this for work and running some older games.

has anyone got any experience with the Elimina Series? what are they like to use.

these are the specs i have ordered unfortunately my budget wouldn't stretch the a better GPU.

Why did you go for such slow RAM? Did you stick with the single stick as well?

Also I would highly recommend switching your SSD configuration up so that you have two. One dedicated for the OS and one for your files and programs. This helps keep your laptop running at optimal performance, extends the life of your drives and if you ever need to reinstall Windows then you don't lose all your data and installs when you do it. My bad I didnt realise the Elmina could only have 1 M.2.

I don't know what your budget is but an RTX 3050 is less than £100 more. I would highly recommend stretching to that if you can or putting off the purchase until you can afford it.

I don't want to sound blunt but the laptop you have configured right now really is not good value for money. You can get a prebuilt 1650 laptop with the same sort of performance for about £300 cheaper.

I have taken the liberty of speccing you a laptop. By my calculation it is probably about £137 more than what you will have paid for your spec. However in terms of price to performance, the cost pays for itself enormously, the useful lifespan of the laptop will be greatly increased as well.

The laptop has 2x8GB 3200MHz RAM, a Samsung EVO Plus 500GB SSD and an RTX 3050.
