good point, not specific enough: gaming
i simply want to know the equivalent as i dont really know AMD CPUs and motherboards, for example: what is the equivalent for the fx6300 in intel?

For gaming I would say between an i3 and i5. You can check benchmarks online for cpu bound games, I don't think there is an actual equivalent but a lesser substitute instead

Nothing comes near really but the closest you'll get to current/previous generation of Intels with AMD is the FX9590.
