Error loading backtrack from live usb in Optimus V

I have not managed to load the distro "Backtrack" from a live usb I made.

This live usb works perfectly fine in my desktop.

When trying to load it in my Optimus V it throws an execption that reads:

general protection fault: 0000 [#1] SMP
CPU3
Modules linked in:
Pid:1, comm: swapper/0 Tainted: G
...

I cannot load a bootable usb wih wifislax either, so I don't think the error has to do with that concrete distro...

Any ideas?
