Hi

Whenever I plug in an Ethernet cable, nothing happens. WiFi works fine. When I go into device manager, there is an Ethernet Controller under Other Devices with a yellow triangle next to it. When I try to let it find drivers by itself, it cannot find any. What do I do to fix it??

Maybe try turning off WiFi first then connect cable ? (i don't use ethernet connection so not sure how the pc decides which connection to utilise if it has choice between wired and wireless).

try loading the driver from the disc provided by PCS

Thanks, I just tried that using the have disk function. It installs fine, but then it gives an error and says the device cannot start (code 10), and is now underneath network adapters in device manager, but still has a yellow triangle and Ethernet still doesn't work :(

Try downloading the LAN driver from PCS downloads.
When you log into your customer account click on "download" under "customer section"
before installing first uninstall driver by right clicking on device in device manager unless the option is greyed out..
If no joy give PCS a call.

thanks guys, after a couple days of researching and downloading drivers I think its a hardware issue. I'll have to wait until December to call PCS because I'm starting university next week.

When you get the yellow triangle in control panel you could try "disabling" then "enabling" the wireless card....it works for me (admittedly on an old windows Vista laptop, but nothing to lose trying)
