Fast track disabled on sandy bridge chips?

As the thread title suggests, I'm wondering why fast track dispatch is disabled for sandy bridge processors right now.

Is there a shortage of stock or is it just because there's a big backlog to work through?

Ah, sorry I've been pretty tied up with work recently, haven't been following this at all.

EDIT: If I were to cancel my existing order because of this and amend it to an i7-950 based system would this put me straight back to the back of the queue? Only asking because if it were to take a further 13 working days it would make more sense to wait.

If you ring them up they should probably be able to just change your order rather than cancel and re-order if you cant do it from the site.

Not at all, there would be a delay of course but your order would be given priority over newer orders.

Thanks for the suggestion Rakk, yeah I've tried doing it on the site but I can't figure out how (if it's possible). Will try calling up tomorrow while at work but I fear the wait times will be long because of this issue.
