Few Questions about PC I'm gonna be getting...

So yeah I hope I'm getting close to the part where I actually get the PC instead of just saying I'm getting it some day. xD

My main headache would be the Internet...Well just to get to the point I'm not going to Stretch wires across the house.Wires all over the place not something I like...So the question would be 1st. What the hell is that Wall socket modem thingy? And second how would Wi-fi deal with this situation? right now it is pretty random strength on it lol. My tablet catches Wi-Fi only as far as 10M and right here where my PC will be is 2/4 bars for it mostly and it goes down to 0 sometimes, not and ideal. So yeah not sure how those Wall socket modems work ,but sure could use an explanation...

There are few more questions, like is HAF X a good case to have?
So the basic Things I am getting...

Either a Quad core or Six core CPU (looking at the games with bad bad bad ports)

Ram well pretty much Probably with most MHz no more than 16GB no less then 12GB, 12GB would be ideal for me Could get 8, but ehh just to be sure, not that expensive...

Looking at Nvidia GTX 680 4GB, 4GB because at the price the PC is going to be the few extra £ wont matter...That or Asus geforce GTX 680, well the same thing just bigger, better, stronger, I guess...

1TBx2 on raid for performance...

750W will do the trick?

Cooling, cooling, cooling... No liquid, just air...

Sound would be Asus xonar DS well doesn't matter much, thinking about external one anyway...just gotta figure out spacing as there isn't much room for my Microlab SOLO7c Speakers... xD
Question for that as well How the hell do you get a subwoofer and put it together with them?

Well yeah suggestions and stuff are welcome and so on and on...

Homeplugs? They are more reliable than a wireless card and you need a pair, one connected to the pc (via an ethernet cable) and another one close to the router.

I have the Haf-x, it is a very good case for cooling and cable management but it is very big, if you have the space go for it.
Either a Quad core or Six core CPU
4 cores is plenty for gaming, unless you are planning to run more cpu intensive tasks an i5 would be enough.

The benefits of higher memory bandwidth (mhz) depends on what you are planning to use your pc for. For gaming no real difference, 1333mhz would be a good choice.

The extra vram would only benefit you when gaming with 3 monitors (and even then the difference between 2gb and 4gb version is very small), in 1 monitor the GTX 680 2gb will outperform the 4gb version. In most cases the gpu is from Palit, you could contact PCS for a confirmation but I think the model provided is the GTX 680 4gb Jetstream Palit.

Without looking at your spec is hard to tell, but with one GPU it is probably plenty.

If you are not overclocking I wouldn't worry too much on cooling the cpu. A triple copper heatpipe would do the job.

At first I wasn't planning on something big, just in time it became big...Was thinking about simple i5, 8bg ram simple nvidia that will run games, with just a simple HDD in a small box basicly...but as the time went I started to scratch my head on something bigger so here we are... xD

The thing about the six core anyway is by the time you will be using it on all the 100% will be the time for you to change your system to a new one anyway...So a quad core is sensable I would say in any case...

So I could basicly get 16GB ram of 1333MHz oddly I can't see 12GB's anywhere... xD

I'm gonna plug the PC to an already existing on my desk Asus VG278H 27" Same as your as it seems

How about that Asus GTX680? it's 2GB and seems to me that is better than the regular one...Just for running games beautifly, that and I got 120FPS to get...

Most games use 4 cores or less and are more GPU dependant. My opinion is that by the time you need to upgrade your CPU you may need to upgrade your whole system. If you are planning to run more cpu intensive applications like FSX or Video editing an i7 is a better choice.

It is a nice monitor :)

The difference between a GTX 670 and GTX 680 in one monitor is small, the gtx 670 is around £100 cheaper.

It's just the bad ports that kicks off some of the games like GTA IV...On consoles it trys to eat CPU alive since the GPU can't handle it...Well without bothering they do the same on PC even trough PC's GPU's Can handle such stuff...

Still thinking about 680 and from Asus...

Thank you any you did help me save money probably... xD Even trough I knew some of the stuff and still went for the badass...
