Hey so I have a few questions, The computer I'm trying to make I'm looking to last for at least 5-6 years future proof wise (i know its hard to judge but at least still perform) for 4k editing and 1440p gaming, maybe some 4k. I'm torn between the nvidia 3070 and the 6800, but i think the extra vram is worth the extra amount.
would you say the spec will deal with heavy editing, my current pc is a i7 2600k, with a nvidia 1070. Originally, it had a gtx 580 I bought from here years ago and so happy with the service I'm debating an upgrade now. my editing even in 1080 res is soooo slowww when it comes to editing and my main issue is streaming through the footage to make cuts. i really would like a upgrade that will deal with the load in 4k smoothly and i think the 3900 will do fine, am i right? no need to overclock as I'm not experience in it and getting the 2600k i never tried to overclock it. I use adobe premiere pro but may consider changing in the future.
also have a question on motherboard, if i switch between the 3070 and the 6800 would a different motherboard be recommended?
and are there any objections in getting the 3900 compared to any other model avl? here is the spec so far
