nods in approval.

Very very good spec,

The modular psu is a very good investment, not only does your choice of case have very good cooling and cable management already. But having a modular psu will allow pcs to only connect the cables that need to be connected, the spare cables will be popped in a little corsair bag in ya welcome pack.

For gaming I'm guessing?

The sound card is good, I have heard very good things about asus soundcards, for 20quid, its a defo.

I'd drop the bullguard trial tho, but thats just me.

In my opinion the power supply is worth it. From what I read about people upgrading from onboard sound card to the asus xonar dg it is worth it, but that is only if you are going to be using a good set os spearkers or good headphones.

I have not been on here much so not seen your other post's that i can remember anyway, if you are just gaming i would leave the SSD and just stick with the caviar black drives and if you are going to get a paid subscription for bullguard then keep the 3 month trial i have used it for 3 or 4 years now and i won't change to any other so either way you have a very nice spec enjoy whatever you do.

Cheers everyone, but won't the ssd drive make games load much quicker or won't there be noticeable difference from the hdd drive I chose?

Loadinng times from a caviar black should be good enough, but they will be better from an ssd. Also keep in mind that 80gb is not a lot of space for modern games.

Well I'll probably go for a larger ssd.

So I'm definitely going to be fine getting the i5 2500 and not regret getting the i7 2600? If there is no difference then I won't bother, but im just thinking of future proofing.

the i5 2500 is plenty good enough for gaming the only reason i can see worth getting the i7 2600 for gaming is if you play FSX or F1 2011 as these games make use of the multi threading.

Well if that's the case, there's a good chance future games are likely to use multi threading. So I think it might save me the hassle of upgrading in the future!
