First gaming PC spec help

Looking to buy my son his first gaming PC, he has a 24 inch Hannspree monitor (1080p & 144Hz). He plays mainly COD and Fortnite.

Budget is around £1k.

Also he has two RAM sticks which are almost brand new - 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3600MHz (2x 8GB) - could we therefore order this build with the cheapest RAM (4GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz) and swap it for the two above sticks (or add them if compatible) thus saving £75?

Do you have a existing computer that you installed windows 10 on? (NOT PRE INSTALLED) If you do I can put my specs for you into budget.

So regarding the RAM, do I remove the 4GB stick and then add the two I have or can they all be in together? A quick google suggests that with mixed RAM speeds the PC will run at the lower speed, so I'd be better off just using the two 3600MHz's. Is this correct?

That is correct, take the 4GB out and replace with the two sticks you have, don’t mix them all in together as it is more likely to be a detriment to the system 👍
