First new build in 8+ years

Hello all.

Im a first time customer of PC Specialist and have ordered the following build and wanted to post it upso more knowlegeable people than I can check for any mistakes.

I have changed the spec a bit, the differences being a water cooler for the CPU, a GTX1070 and a case that fits the changes (Cooler master case iirc).

I wont be over-clocking it. The only reason I ended up with a water cooler was in the hope it would be easier to clean.

90% of the time I only play Dungeons and Dragons Online, but have the occasional dabble with Witcher 3 or MWO, so its probably a bit more than I need perhaps.

Any thoughts welcome.


Edit added. I forgot to say what system it replaces which was an i5 750 with a Gtx580

If you don't need Windows, you can upgrade the RAM to 16gb.

For closer to £1000, you could drop the GPU to a GTX 1060 6gb, which is still very good for 1080p indeed.

The PM961 is faster than the WD Black SSD.
3000MHz RAM isn't much more than 2666MHz
The i5 8400 is actually almost as fast as the i5 8600k (the base frequencies are very deceptive) but it's £60 cheaper
The Game Max Falcon is a very good case in this kind of price range
You don't need a liquid cooler. Any cheap air cooler is more than fine
