First time buyer questions

Basically, does this look ok for a new gaming pc? Is there anything wrong that I should change? Wasting money where I shouldn't be or maybe I should get a better part of any of the ones I already have?

You have forgotten to paste the spec you ate considering.

I can see your questions but nothing else appearing.

There are a few basic questions to think of when chosing your spec,
What your budget is, preferred budget and absolute max.
What monitor you are going to be using (if not a specific monitor, then resolution, refresh and monitor size)
What you are going to use it for (youve mentioned gaming pc, are there any specific games or example games you can give... some have requirements like MSFS2020 which eats RAM and benefits from 32GB)

Also worth mentioning if you have an existing copy of windows you can transfer, or any storage drives etc that youd like to reuse

Budget is about 1300.
Monitor is
IIYAMA G2440HSU-B1 24'' Monitor
The most graphically intensive would probably be dying light 2, ow2 and borderlands 3. Nothing that doesn't need something super powerful. I assume.

No Drives

For £1500 this is where I would be looking.
On reflection your monitor is only 75hz, depending on what games you play we would normally recommend going for a 120/144hz monitor as 75hz is quite slow in certain titles, particularly FPS titles. You can get a good 1080p 144hz for around £180, and could then use your current display as a secondary screen, if this is a direction that you would like to consider I can scale this build back for you.
