First time lapton buyer looking for advice

Hello guys,

I'm looking into buying my first laptop and i'm quite clueless about how to proceed...
This is what i am looking for
1) lightweight
2) compact (max 15' )
3) would be used for everyday use and to play final fantasy 14 (nothing more demanding than that)
4) long battery life
5) MAX £1000
6)possibly with SSD

Let me know if you can suggest anything

+1 to the Defiance. Though any laptop's battery life isn't going to be brilliant if you game on battery :)

While newer mobile GPUs may be coming out in the coming months, the Defiance in the review section does already have some discount to it so if you need a laptop soon then it's a fair option. If you've no pressing need for a laptop, you may consider waiting - but it could be a few months until we see new GPUs and widespread availability.
