For all those wondering whether to buy Homeplugs.

I bought some in advance of my new PC arriving, and am currently testing them on my current old PC.

On wireless, I was sat 8 feet from the router and got download speeds of 10.1 Mbps

I have just plugged the Homeplugs in, and run exactly the same test, and my speeds came out at 16.1 Mbps

That is well worth the £30 or so I spent on the units.

I dithered and dithered about whether to buy them, but I can see the improvement straight away.

I hope the simple test results above persuade others to do the same.

I highly recommend homeplugs too Wireless used to cut out on me, then when i got my new pc it wouldn't work at all. Sorted by 2 plugs, excellent stuff
