Good evening. I have been asked to spec a PC out for my brother
He said his budget is £2000 or close too...
I have basic knowledge on hardware but thought I would ask the PC Specialists themselves.
He is a gamer, plays all sorts of games, ranging from your basic 2d scroller to quite graphic intense shooters.
All and any advise to improve specs or save money would be great.

I’d probably consider factoring a new monitor into the equation, the 4070 will be absolutely wasted on his current display.

AMD is the CPU to choose if he’s looking for a gaming system. The 7800X3D destroys Intel’s current offerings with a massive reduction in thermals. I’m a bit busy with real life events but I’ll spec something up later… assuming that nobody has beaten me to it 👍

Monster build. But if you don't get a new (1440p high refresh rate) monitor to go with it, you are committing a crime against the PC hardware gods.
