Hi all, I’m looking into this build but would like to know your thoughts and also what sort of frames I can expect to get from Flight Simulator 2020?

It's hard to say mate but what I can say is that you're build is right up there at the top end of 1440p so it should offer really excellent performance

It's an extremely well balanced build so props for that. I'd love a build as nice as that for myself. It's an A Star from me

Only suggestion is to flip the storage drives but we're reaaaaalllly splitting hairs. The Firecuda is ever ever ever so slightly faster so it would work marginally better as an OS drive. Then again we're talking about the difference between a Ferrari and Lambo when both are absurd

It's a great build and you'll be really happy with it. However, I'd propose a different solution that will be a little better for the same money by going over to Intel.

It's worth saying that neither of these will offer high frame rates in MSFS, certainly nothing near the performance of the G7. You're probably looking at something in the region of 50-60FPS on 1440p "high". But that's just what MSFS is like.

I think it works out a touch more expensive and the performance difference is negligible, but yes, also an option.
