Front audio jack produce distorted sound

Just received my new PCS computer but when i connect headphone/earphone on the front audio jack it produces distorted sound. I thought the earphone is the problem but it works fine when i connect with the audio jack on the monitor

What's your full spec? Did you order it with Windows or have you installed your own copy?

Its the ultima x01 and yup it comes with windows 10. About the sound, i tried another video (movies) and now it have quite clear backgroud sound but no voice. Just telling incase it might helps

In that case I suggest you call PCS tomorrow and talk this over with them. These fora are not an official support channel, they're more of a community support forum and most of us on here don't work for PCS.

Okay. I'll do some reading first incase i can find the solution and I'll call them if they didnt work.

Don;t worry about calling PCS and finding it's a simple solution. They'll not think you stupid.

I would call them straight away, they're very helpful.

Yup. Just called them and problem solved. It looks like the connection on the motherboard to the front audio jack was loose. I adjusted it a bit and it works fine now.
