Has anyone experienced any issues with the Microsoft gamepass? Its allowing me to download games but they are suggesting that they require administrator approval? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

Can you post your full specs from the order page?

Are you logged in to windows with a Microsoft account? If so is it connected to a family account or business account?

Only real issue I ever had on XBGP was with Halo MCC.

DL'd the core part of the package just fine but no matter what I did it wouldn't DL the individual games. I gave it a couple of days, nothing happened, got fed up and uninstalled. The next day it started DLing Reach and ODST (which had both been released before this attempt) realised the core part or whatever was no longer installed, and crashed GP.
That actually happened twice within a month, though the first attempt it didn't start DLing any games at all, even after a week.
I gave up on revisiting Halo after that.

Another thing was some games I've had remain on the installed list long after uninstalling. probably not a big deal, just annoying.

Aside from that, all good. No issues (so far) with any other games. They've given me EA Play since so kind of forgiven, just a little.

On mine, it was due to a Windows Security ransomware/protected folders setting.

Once I disabled 'Controlled Folder Access' it was all fine again - and I was able to install everything (including some mods that needed to go in the protected Microsoft Gamepass folders).

[Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage ransomware protection > Controlled folder access]

But please note that this will of course open up some security holes...so balance that knowledge with the need to install a game(s).

You can just disable it and reenable it, if it flags anything just add and exception
