A few forum members have recently requested that we stock specific brands of gaming keyboards and mice. As you may well know we already stock Logitech Gaming keyboards and mice, which a lot of our customers seem to be happy with. If you think we should stock some other brands, please voice your opinions by voting here!

I'm totally happy with my G19/G9x, though I think it would be a good thing if you catered for those who want a different option.

PCS you should add another vote to the poll 'I would like more brand choices' which is what my thread was orginally about though I did target steelseries as it was a good example but It was meant to be about 'more brand choices'

Well I currently have a stock of 5 Sidewinder X8's so in business wise for PCS is they sell fast for how they work there great! goes up to 4000dpi and it's charging is amazing you never really need it leaving its charging bay, I've used it for 1 and a half month and never lost charge cause it lasts for 30 hours.

I guess it depends on your profit margins - do many people buy gaming peripherals when buying a new pc ? in my personal opinion, i would assume like myself they're upgrading and probably either already own such things or if not, it's more likely something they'd scour the internet looking for a deal... unless you can compete with the bigger retailers ? or run as a loss leader maybe.

Personally I think you should stock the Saitek-gear such as the Cyborg gaming mice and keyboards (I noticed you didn't note keyboards down for Saitek up there?)... They're very popular and in my opinion are very good qulity and value for money and will probs reassure people knowing they can get them from you at a cheaper rate than retail. =P

Competing on price is not an issue, we have sufficient buying power to compete with most retailers, hence why our computers are very well priced. :) We just need to decide if enough customers want to purchase the keyboards/mice to warrant offering them.

I love the steelserious keybourd/mouses and headsets becuase they cater for gamers specifically and they also target games such as WoW, starcraft etc they are pretty cool.

PCS you should look into mouse pads aswell as this makes a huge difference when gaming, no point having a super cool gaming mouse without a super smooth texture to pop them headshots more precisely!

Sweet - i'm trying to remember if, on your home page you have a "buy accessories" type of page ??? if not then that would be an advantage as you could sell to a wider audience (i.e not just people ordering a pc) ???. I do love my Razer mouse, when i first got it i was like; wow - why aren't all mice this good.

I'm happy with the current Logitech Choices.

This gets my vote. Logitech provide a good balance of price/performance/appearance. If people have a specific setup in mind then it would be almost impossible to cater for their exact needs in my opinion. They might buy the PC from you guys then go elsewhere to get the exact peripherals they want. That's what I did anyway. I suppose you could broaden the range but it would be very difficult to please everyone.

Actually I'm inclined to go with Tom on this one, peripherals and accessories are just the icing on the cake, people will probably have brand loyalties if they're hardcore gamers and it would be rather expensive to stock them all. If I could change my vote to Logitech I would :)

Hey guys,

I was thinking about getting a Belkin Ultra Hi-speed Gaming Nostromo Speedpad and a Razer Naga Mmog Gaming Mouse.
Are they good for WoW?
I have Windows 7 32 Bit if you know anything about the software that comes with it.

They're really good if you set macros to all of the buttons, the ones on the mouse might be a bit difficult to use though as there are so many o_O

Well to add my voice I voted stick with the current Logitech choices. As a gamer these are the ones that have stood me in good stead for the last few years and I personally stick with what I know. But from a commercial point of view I guess if you guys at PCS are trying to sell more peripherals I would say stick to what you know, you are never going to compete with the big boys on little stuff, not being disrepectfull you understand but why have shelf loads of gear that someone "might" add to an order, But most probably either already have or have ordered from Amazon!
G11 keyboard and G3 mouse btw which I already own and trust will be attached to my new PC Monday I hope when i pick it up cheers PCS see you then :)
