What sort of games will you be playing?Hey everyone,
It has been 5 years since i last looked into buying a PC/Laptop
I need your help to help me configure a gaming laptop with the best available gear.
There is no specific budget for this.
Looking forward to receiving your advises.
Thx.
Thx for the reply. What sort of games will you be playing?
Does size matter? I.e. does it need to be portable? Do you have a preference between 15" and 17"?
Up to 4k lets say and i play all sorts of games such as WoW, LoL, Diablo etc.Whats your budget and what sort of games?
I know that 64Gb are overkill but if I had unlimited budget I will take 64 instead of 32 for better future proof. Can I confirm you really want a laptop? and not a desktop with that budget?
Ionico is a good one, but I would tweak @Vergaro98 suggestion slightly. You dont need 64gig ram unless you are stitching together about 8 photos in Lightroom / Photoshop - trust me (look at my spec LOL)...32gig is plenty 2 x 16. Most games would probably only need 2 x 8 (16) but hey you have the budget.
I would change the 250gig drive for the 500gb faster one and then make sure you ask for the OS to be put on the 500gig drive, not the large 2tb one.
@Vergaro98 - has that defaulted to Italy because of where you are from or do you know that the OP is from Italy?
Personally, I am not sure you will see £500 worth of difference between selecting the 3070 TI or the 3080TI on the laptop screen itself for the games you play. Will this be attached to a monitor? What resolution etc? I know they always say go for the best you can afford when it comes to laptop GPUs, but I will defer to someone else here re the GPU and the cost difference for the performance difference on these two GPUs - @barlew - what are your thoughts?
OP - you will need to adjust kettle lead and delivery and definitely stick with GOLD warranty and up the Pixel gtee to the 12 month (its only £7 more than the 30 day).

But I’ll wait a little more, at the moment some model aren’t avaible (like Recoil, Valeon, etc.) and they could be better than above.
Personally If I had the budget that the @Jtpm has I would definitely take a 3080TI for a 2k screen as specs wise it sits just below the desktop 3080. That being said If you look at the list of games the OP plays it probably isn't worth it unless they are going to start playing the latest AAA ray traced games. Can I confirm you really want a laptop? and not a desktop with that budget?
