Gaming Laptop for £2,000

Hello,

I am trying to find a new gaming laptop to replace my old Alienware 17. I am torn between custom and ready built laptops sold by the likes of MSI, Acer, etc. I wanted to ask if you guys could post a spec of what my money could buy that would rival any of the well-known brand names?

It has to have a 17/17.3 screen and be ideal for long hours of gaming. Size isn't a factor since the laptop will be plugged in and stationary at all times. All I am looking for is the best laptop my money could buy and trying to explore every avenue before purchasing to avoid those after purchase jitters.
