Gaming Laptop

Hi

I would appreciate any thoughts/suggestions on this laptop spec for a laptop that can game at high level plus have enough abilities elsewhere for graphics/video/general use.

I have usually preferred desktops but lost my last one in December floods and now aiming for more mobile/minimal option than desktop - around £1000 to £1500.

Have always had excellent products from PCS in the past - but never laptops - presume these are as good as their desktops?

may add mouse/external keyboard/mat but not sure yet as this is pretty much on budget.

That's a well balanced spec and as good as any mobile version laptop is going to get. The defiance is superb with extremely capable cooling and a lovely chassis.

The only thing I'd question, although I'm sure you've considered it properly, do you need the external soundcard? Is it for external speaker array?

Overall spot on build, only thing I'd change is the secondary HDD to a 7200rpm drive (much quicker than the 5400 scorpio blues).

Thanks for that! Good call on the sound - just want to keep options open.

Don't seem to be any 1TB 7200 rpm options - I guess a 750GB would be fine.
