This is a really unbalanced build mate, is there any reason for choosing Intel over AMD as AMD is beating Intel in every category at the minute. Can you also let us know what your budget is? Thanks

£1500 is a really nice sweet spot for 1080p gaming but more importantly it will allow us to put together a base that can be easily upgraded later and more importantly be able to handle those upgrades straight away. This is what I would go for in your budget, the plan would be to add a 1440p 144Hz GPU later down the line in a year or so. Let me know if you have any questions

Noticed that you originally picked out a 27 inch 1080p monitor - general advice is to avoid those as the pixel density at that resolution makes everything look a bit grainy.

The AOC 24G2U is a cracking monitor for 1080p and can be had for around £180 :)
It's starting to feel a bit like I rushed my order last night!! Will also look into this monitor :)

If you only ordered last night then it's very early and easy to amend the order or you could simply cancel and re-order. Contact PCS they generally seem really good at working with people with a simple phone call

Have reordered - they were great.

Just a query on the power-supply, the site flagged it was a touch over kill. I left as you recommended, but could you tell me is this supply with future upgrades in mind?

Yeah it's based on GPU trends, the previous gen of GPU you could get away with 500W and 600W PSU but this current gen of RTX cards are all pushing 700W & 750W so the 850W RMx (which is a very high standard of PSU) is to cover for future power consumption or leaps

The idea is to build a computer for a build in 5 years time not a computer to suit your needs right now
