Looks pretty waterproof to me, if you are going to buy the 4K 144Hz monitor. It's a fabulous waste of money if you're not, though!

A couple of minor changes I'd suggest: for £5 you get a much-improved warranty; you could also go for the Capellix cooler, for the extra RGB joy. My only remaining question is whether 1.5TB of storage is enough -- a hard drive would be the easy and cheap way to add extra space if you want it.

the £5 for a better warranty does make sense spending this much on a PC. The extra £20 for RGB not so much since it will mostly likely be on the floor next to me since i have a small desk (maybe this PC will justify making room haha), was also wondering if a cheaper cooler would be sufficient over the current one for the CPU. As for the space i would put the OS on the 500gb along with regular games i play and the other SSD for other games and files. I chose the 1TB CORSAIR MP400 SSD over a hard drive since i will mostly put other games onto it for faster loading, is this worth it?

The elite capellix is better cooling than the other one, the fans are more powerful.

If you are only gaming, I’d definitely drop the CPU to the 5800X, only people doing video editing etc regularly are going to need that sort of CPU, i have a 5800X and it demolishes every game with ease.

I have a pretty identical storage to you and i get by just fine.

The AX200 may be worth adding also, for bluetooth and wifi.

If i changed to a 5800x would you change the motherboard also? was also thinking to drop to a 3070 considering the 4 month estimate for a 3080. Would you still do the Capellix cooler for the 5800x?

Personally i’d keep the cooler and if you can afford to... the motherboard.

extra cooling has no negatives other than cost

For the 5800X we normally recommend the TUF X570. If you're looking at a 4K 144hz monitor, you'll need the 3080. A 3070 is more aimed at 4K 60hz or maxing out a 1440p 144hz monitor. Alternatively, you could look into AMD's offerings, there are a lot less people in the queue but I've heard the stock is even worse. It might be worth some research and a call to PCS about waiting times if it's something you're interested in. If it fits in your budget, the Capellix is the ideal choice for the 5800X, but a H115i PRO XT will still do a great job.
