Gaming Pc

I posted a set-up I was interested in a couple of months ago with a view to buying in July. I've managed to save faster than I expected and will be in a position to order next Friday hopefully. I was looking at a rig with the GTX Titan X but since then the GTX 980 Ti has been released. I've changed around a few things and made it so I can afford 2 GTX 980 Ti's in SLI. I've left out a wireless card and sound card since the motherboard has it built in. Other than that is there anything I need to consider that I might not have done already? Also I know this is overkill for a gaming pc (as many people are very vocal about telling me) but I live in rural France and all I do outside of work is play games.

well my view is that there is no need to buy expensive components like the motherboard since it would provide no noticeable benefits (or any for gaming). I think your query is more to do with adding bits? the only suggestions I have are downgrades but if you are happy with your choice go for it. Don't think silver warranty applies to you since you are located outside of the UK.

Ive considered a different motherboard but I'm going to stick with that just for the features it provides like wifi, sound card and OC Panel. I was originally going to get 32gb RAM but dropped it down to 16 to get the 2 GPUs and keep the price around what i was willing to spend. I was also looking at going for a bigger PCIe SSD and a HDD but its more cost effective to get 1 240gb PCIe and 1 240gb SSD plus the HDD instead of a 480gb PCIe and HDD. Also I've opted for the 144hz G Sync over 4k just going off reviews I have found on the internet. I'll look more into the warranty.

Quad Channel RAM

A friend looked over the system I'm about to order and spotted a possible problem with the RAM. Im looking at 16gb Hyper X Predator (2x8gb) but since it is quad channel RAM and I'm ordering the ASUS Rampage motherboard he says I will be hitting a massive curve not having a 4x4gb kit. PCspecialist don't currently offer the 4x4 kits and I have no desire to upgrade to 32gb. Can anybody offer advice on this since I'm looking to order tomorrow but this is putting me off.
