Yes you can crossfire a second HD6870 and the HD6970 isn't out yet probably, 1600mhz RAM isn't really necessary.

It's already ordered! I heard if you wanted to overclock then it wasn't a bad shout. It's there just to have the option really, if what I heard was correct.
