Hey guys,
Thinking of a good build for around 1500-2k? Maybe a bit more if needed to run All games on max and recording at 60fps with no loss in playability. I'm also going to be using it for video editing.
..So what would you guys recommend?
Been trying to get in touch with PCS online support for some advice but was left holding for ages and I refreshed and they were offline, haha. Just my luck.

I wouldn't recommend an o/ced spec, however, that is good if you want to get one.

I would get this, you can o/c it later if you want to.

One more powerful GPU is always better than 2 lesser ones. The 7970 will murder any game at the moment. And this PSU will give you enough power for another 7970 in the future.

Also, this is a powerful cooler, probably more than you need, but doesn't hurt to be safe with a decent budget.

No need for the k version of the CPU unless you plan on overclocking, but thats not recommended if you are just gaming.

Damn, beaten to it! Both mine and Music Guys specs are very similar and will offer you a beast of a gaming machine!

7950 is actually close in performance when compared to a 7970, and two 7950 will outperform a single 7970 by far.

Hey bg92 and thanks, would you recommend getting a 3rd HDD for recording to a separate drive? Also what about water cooling that CPU as you've said to OC it, would titan be enough? One last thing, haha. How long does an OC CPU usually last?

It really depends on how much you o/c the CPU. A 2700k @ 4.3/4 ghz will be fine. However, if you put it @5GHz, you will have an unstable system and the cpu won't last very long and can cause lots of other problems. I wouldn't get two 7950s, I would get 1 7970, then, when you start to notice a performance drop in a couple of years time, add another as they will be very cheap. This means that it will cost you less and you will get high performance for longer. I would make sure you get a SATA 6GB/s SSD. For the cooling, water cooling is better but it comes with its risks. The new coolers are good though. I suggest that you get a good, long warranty, seeing as you have the budget for it. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions, please do ask them!

4 USB 3.0 ports and 12 USB 2.0 ports so 16 in total. Which spec are you going to get then, don't forget to post your final spec!

Change the motherboard to this one ASUS® P8Z68-V/GEN3, it will be more futureproof. I would also get the k version of the i7-2600k so you could overclock in the future if you wanted to. Also from what I see a hx750 psu would be enough for this.
