GeForce GTX 560 questions

I really wasn't too sure where to put this so feel free to move if it's in the wrong section.

My concerns with the GTX 560 is that it says it supports VGA but from the reviews & pictures I've seen it doesn't have a VGA port. Could somebody please verify whether or not it does or doesn't.

The second question I have is whether or not I would be able to use a Microsoft HDMI cable I got with my xbox 360 to conenct the GTX 560 to my TeleVision or if I would need to purchase the one from PCS with the computer I plan on purchasing.

Thanks in advanced. :D

Yes it will support it. If it doesn't have a dedicated VGA port you can get a DVI-VGA adapter quite cheaply if you look around online. It might even come with one. (Not sure on that though)

Ideally to make the most of it though you'll want to connect via DVI or HDMI.

As for the HDMI cable you have, so long as its a standard HDMI cable it will work, if not I'd suggest looking on sites such as play.com and amazon.co.uk where you can pick one up for around £2-5. Don't go for any of the branded £15+ cables, they are a total rip off, a cheap one does the job just as well :)

I think it's very likely it'l come with a DVI to VGA adaptor. My EVGA GTX 570 SC came with one, so I can't see why yours wouldn't!

The way the adaptor works it like this:
