Genesis IV question

I noticed that Genesis IV only comes with a 65W power supply. Would it not be a problem if someone choose a 45W TDP processor together with a 640m?

I would think so, yes. My Genesis IV arrived today with two 90W adapters, which seems like a better decision.

If I purchase the genesis with a quad core i7 processor and 8gb ram with two 4gb slots will I still have full functionality if I increase memory at a later stage to two 8gb slots of ram totalling 16gb?

I'm no sure what you mean by full functionality, but that will work, yes.
