Going for the ultima, monitor advice?

Deciding to lump for the ultima review PC as I just cannot find anything close to it anywhere for the same price, what I need with it is a nice gaming monitor, budget is around £200, ill stretch it if I must but would rather not if I don't need to, suggestions?

also what is the deal between 144hz and less, am I going to notice a lot of performance difference.

same with resolution, what would the ultima run smoothly?

The Ultima has an i7 8700k and a GTX 1080. This is powerful hardware, capable of pushing higher resolutions like 1440p, or very high framerates at 1080p.

There's not much point buying a powerful system like the Ultima if your monitor doesn't then let you harness that performance.

A 144hz 1080p monitor would let you make use of all the additional frames per second above 60hz than your system can produce at 1080p resolution. It can make gameplay feel a lot smoother and more responsive, and is particular popular with shooters.

Otherwise, a higher resolution monitor like 1440p packs a lot more pixels into the same kind of area compared to 1080p, and gives a sharper and more detailed image.

You could look at the AOC G2460PF monitor for 1080p 144hz, or something like the AOC Q2778VQE for 1440p 60hz. These both cost around £200.
