heyy guys me again, im looking to build another computer for a mate who is in to gaming and wants a laptop as he moves betweens houses alot. His budget is 1000-1300 but would prefer to spend less than top.

Looks like a solid laptop, I would recommend dropping the CPU a little and then putting in an ssd as the primary hdd and keep the scorpio blacck as the second hdd. Apart fromthat, looks like a very good build, enjoy it, I am sure you won't be dissapointed!!!

I would recommend looking at the Vortex line up with a GTX560M and a i7-2670 (it will be much more powerfull for playing games).

I know this is a shade over budget but it isn't too bad, I would recommend an SSD but they will cost you about £170 more and probably won't fit into your budget. The scorpio black is still very good and it means you can get a very good graphics card as well. This will be a very, very good gaming laptop. Here is the spec:

I have just re-read my spec and I didn't mean to put the SSD in, I think I copied the wrong spec on - sorry. I did mean to upgrade the graphics card. The spec Tehmoe has put is exactly what you need and will be very good

As long as his budget is £900+, he can pick up a Vortex II 15/17" with Geforce 560M, otherwise he may have to opt for a cheaper optimus build.
